Problem solved. Yes, you're welcome. :) 12/30/2010
I watched Carlos Slim on Larry King last night and I had a great idea to fix the world economy. Apparently, his net worth is around 54 billion dollars, which makes him the richest person in the world, whereas Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are 53 and 47 billion respectively. That makes their combined worth at 154 billion dollars. Now, the world population is currently around 7 billion (give or take a few hundred thousand), so, what if Slim, Gates and Buffet gave a billion to each person on the planet, they would still have 147 billion left over. Yes, I realize that 7 billion is a HUGE chunk of change, but I have absolute confidence that they could make back that 7 billion in no time, AND they would still continue with their wonderful philanthropic efforts...because they do care about people. I hear ya...it would be hard not to blow that 7 billion in one place, though... Oh yeah, don't lie. I'm not the only one who loves the Bacon, Egg, Cheese & Potato Taquito. All of breakfast in a single breadtube. Add Comment A very Merry Christmas to all. 12/25/2010
DID I HEAR SOMETHING?! 12/24/2010

Lately, I have been experiencing one of my pet peeves, with the parking lots turning into the Indy 500. Why can't people pay more attention to my reckless speeding? This morning, an elderly woman crawled out of nowhere, just as I was fishtailing "Fast & Furious" style into the last parking space, we were both trying to get, and afterwards, during our heated verbal exchange, I asked her, "Why is it only fine for Santa Claus to lean on the peddle at this time of year?!" I'M BUYING STUFF FOR PEOPLE, TOO, YOU KNOW! Log? Yuck! 12/21/2010
When I got home this afternoon, I found this greeting me on the front step. Now, not only do I have robots pooping on my property, I have the neighbourhood trees, as well. I know that this was deposited by my own tree and not a stray, as was the case with the robot the other day. (I realized the robot was a stray because I saw him calculating all over the neighbour's lawn across the street.) OUCHY! 12/18/2010
Today is the day people the world over celebrate the 503rd anniversary of the great Yoshitaka's birth. Okay, well, some of us the world over. Now, he certainly wasn't any kind of King of Kings type fellow, but he was definitely a most awesomely excellent, Japanese samurai daimyo dude. Aaaannnd, he ended his rollicking warlord funtimes with a cup of tea, a poem and the suicidal disemboweling ritual of seppuku. Coincidentally, his name was Ōuchi, which just so happened to be the last thing he hollered. Br. 12/14/2010

I was outside doing some cleaning up on the weekend and came across this. My first thought was, oh great, now I have some mechanical ants building a nest under the sundeck. Then I thought it strange that they would build on a piece of cardboard. Then I realized that there are no such things as mechanical ants, which made me feel stupid. Now I have to go ask the neighbour to keep his robot from crapping on my stuff. Post Title. 12/09/2010
I just noticed with that last post, that when I type it out, the over and down are at the proper spots all the way down, but then when I publish it, the first bit gets messed up. |
Mmmm cheese
